Palo Alto
I chose this place that relates to the book because this is the real setting of the book and where the experiment took place.
Facts:
*population of 58,598 residents
*It is in the San Francisco Bay area
*It is named after a tree called El Palo Alto
*Most houses in the area old craftsman houses
*Is rated the 5th most expensive city in the Unites States
* The weather is just like it is in San Diego with warm dry summers and cool winters
* There are many households and 27% of the houses and residents are children
*Has 5 branch libraries
Even though that this is the real place that book took place in it relates in several different reasons. First, there are many different houses and communities in the area. Like in the book all the characters lived in the area of the school.

Theme
Here are the lyrics to Unwritten. I think that these lyrics describe individuality which is a key theme in the book. In the book the students become individual when the Wave starts. They don't really like their friends if they are not in the Wave. Here are the lyrics to Unwritten and you can also listen to the song.
Unwritten
I am unwritten,
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten, yeah
Oh, oh
I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines, oh yeah yeah
We've been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can't live that way oh, oh
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
the rest still unwritten
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live you life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
Here is my second song Imagine by the Beatles
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No h***below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
